Robert Simpson, Jr. is co-founder of the Firm and serves as the Firm’s CEO, and Director of the Succession Planning Group. He is responsible for the Firm’s practice relating to professional service providers. He is a past president of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and a former member of the Council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Simpson received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a major in Accounting) from Miami University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University. He is a founding shareholder in the CPA firm of Simpson & Osborne, CPAs, A.C., has been a CPA since 1969, and holds the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation. Mr. Simpson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (past member of Council), West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (Past President and recipient of its Distinguished Service Award), and the Charleston Chapter of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (Past President).

Mr. Simpson currently serves as a Trustee of Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc. and is a member of the Board of the Charleston Area Medical Center Health System, Inc. He has served as President and as a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Charleston. He was also recognized by the Club as a Paul Harris Fellow.
